Our Review

For over 25 years Slim-Fast have been offering replacement meals to aid weight loss. Starting with simple meal replacement drinks they now offer shakes, meals, snack bars and meal replacement bars amongst other things. For people wanting low carbohydrate diets they have recently produced a range of low carb products.

The Slim-Fast Principle

The basis of the Slim-Fast philosophy is simple. Consume less calories and use more energy. You reduce calorie intake by replacing all but one meal a day with a Slim-Fast meal replacement product. The meal replacement products typically aim to be filling but contain far less calories than the meal they replace would. A Slim-Fast shake contains 170-220 calories. There are also snack products that contain 120 - 130 calories to help with the in between meal cravings. Couple this with a little regular exercise and the Pounds can roll off.
